THE NEW e-HYBRID ERA

Jeep® has introduced new e-Hybrid technology based on the combined work of two engines - the petrol-powered 1.5 T4 Turbo powertrain, delivering 96kW through the front axle, and an electric motor integrated in the new 7-speed DCT transmission providing 48V to boost performance up to 15 kW in various phases of the driving experience. The e-Hybrid system can guarantee a pure electric driving experience: it allows driving in full electric mode with the internal combustion engine completely switched off when in low speed.

AUTOMATIC TAILGATE

Thanks to Hands Free Power Liftgate* technology, the tailgate of the new Jeep® Compass can be opened and closed without using your hands. The detection sensors located under the rear bumper are activated with a simple movement of the foot. * Available on Summit. Not compatible with the tow bar.

NEW 7-SPEED GEAR

The performance of the e‑Hybrid powertrain is streamlined with the new dual‑clutch 7‑speed transmission. Shorter gear ratios and comfort driving are insured, also thanks to the seventh rest gear that allows more efficient driving both in the city and on the highway.

SELECT YOUR STYLE

The new Compass comes with three driving modes to suit your driving style: Hybrid mode uses the petrol engine and electric motor for a fuel‑efficient ride. Electric mode uses only the electric motor, reducing fuel usage to 0. E‑Save mode keeps the battery charged by increasing the effectiveness of autonomous charging systems.

NEW SPACES WITHIN REACH

Take everything you need with you, even on the longest journeys. The new Jeep® Compass offers you a whole suite of new storage compartments. These spacious and unobtrusive containers are located behind the gearbox, on the central console, and on the armrest. The useful space exceeds 7L, so that everything you need is within reach.

ROOMY & ADAPTABLE

Customize the trunk’s loading space to bring along everything you need. The new Jeep® Compass features 60/40 collapsible rear seats that make the trunk even more versatile, raising its volume to suit your specific needs.

HEY JEEP®

The Compass 4xe & e‑Hybrid is the first Jeep® to have a voice assistant built into the new intelligent Uconnect™ infotainment system. Just say “Hey Jeep®" and start talking to your car to adjust air conditioning, change your music, set your destination and more.

RECHARGE WITH E-COASTING

The new e‑Coasting system on Compass 4xe plug‑in hybrid & e‑Hybrid allows you to recharge the battery even while traveling. This new innovative technology, when activated, optimizes the negative torque generated on the engine brake to recharge the battery.

TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION

Recognises traffic signs and reports the speed limit on the digital instrument cluster display.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) electronic system maintains the cruising speed pre‑set by the driver and, by detecting any vehicle in front, automatically adjusts the speed of the car while maintaining the safety distance.

LANE KEEP ASSIST

Keeping the car's position inside the lane is easier with the Lane Keep Assist system which warns the driver and automatically corrects the vehicle's position.

DRIVER DROWSY DETECTION

This technology monitors the driver's attention level, comparing the current state with that of the last 7 minutes. If your attention falls below the minimum level, a warning light comes on in the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal, prompting the driver to take a break.

AUTONOMOUS BRAKING

New Jeep® Compass can prevent possible collisions with vehicles, obstacles and pedestrians. Using the front camera and radar it can detect the presence of cars, or people, in front of the car and automatically apply the brakes.
